C1 Viton® (Rod Seals)

The PDF Rod Seal Profile C1 meets the requirements of the manufacturers of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for seals with the smallest possible housings. Although cross-sections and heights are very small the sealing performance is excellent. Extremely low friction is experienced because of the short contact area at the sealing surface. Header rings or brackets are not required because of the special design. Applications in pneumatic systems with lubricated pressurized air is possible. Manufactured in FKM (Viton®). For use in non-lubricated pneumatic systems(dry air) profile E5 is recommended.

Hydraulic Application:

• Working Pressure: =160 bar

• Working Temperature:  -25°C to 200°C (-13°F to 400°F)

• Surface Speed: =0.5 m/s

Pneumatic Application:

• Working Pressure: =16 bar

• Working Temperature: -40°C to 80°C (-40°F to 176°F)

• Surface Speed: =1 m/s
