E8 (Pneumatic Rod Seal)

The self-retaining pneumatic rod seal/wiper set profile E8 for piston rods in pneumatic cylinders combines three functions; sealing, wiping, fixing.

Application:

• Working Pressure: = 16 bar

• Working Temperature: -20°C to 80°C (-4°F to 176°F)

• Surface Speed: = 1 m/s

Advantages:

• No danger of corrosion as the combined fixing/scraping part renders additional circlips etc. unnecessary.

• No dust corners thanks to the special design in the vicinity of the wiper.

• Favorable friction values and long service life due to special compound and lip geometry of the sealing part but also because of highly wear-resistant material used for the fixing part.

• Suitable for use in dry as well as oil-free air after initial lubrication on assembly.

• Can easily be replaced even with piston rod installed.
