The self-retaining pneumatic rod seal/wiper set profile E8 for piston rods in pneumatic cylinders combines three functions; sealing, wiping, fixing.
Application:
Working Pressure: = 16 bar
Working Temperature: -20°C to 80°C (-4°F to 176°F)
Surface Speed: = 1 m/s
Advantages:
No danger of corrosion as the combined fixing/scraping part renders additional circlips etc. unnecessary.
No dust corners thanks to the special design in the vicinity of the wiper.
Favorable friction values and long service life due to special compound and lip geometry of the sealing part but also because of highly wear-resistant material used for the fixing part.
Suitable for use in dry as well as oil-free air after initial lubrication on assembly.
Can easily be replaced even with piston rod installed.
