SN 21 (Piston and Rod Seals)
The SN 21 has a symmetrical design which allows it to be used as a piston seal and a rod seal. Can be installed in both split and solid housings. Please note for a solid housing application a minimum width is necessary and suitable installation tools may be required. Manufactured in NBR90 and are primarily used with low pressures as the seal lips are provided with radial pre-stress which is strengthened by the pressure of the system. Apart from applications in hydraulics, this NBR design can also be used in pneumatic applications.
